Today I continued to developed my ability to pronounce and identify the new vocabulary in 2.2. I did this by working with the flashcards www.classzone.com and by checking my assignment from yesterday. I was able to do this by going on maisanospanish.weebly.com and downloading the answer key.
I am able to conjugate regular present tense verbs and the new irregular verb IR. I did this by responding to questions in the assignments from yesterday and today. Today's assignment is posted. When I'm finished I can open the answer key and check my answers. The assignment needs to be completed before I come to class.
Today I expanded my knowledge of time telling. I know that to express a.m. and p.m., in Spanish I use; de la manana - in the morning de la tarde - in the afternoon de la noche - in the evening I learned the irregular verb IR and its conjugations IR- to go yo - voy nosotros - vamos tú - vas vosotros - vais él ellos ella- va ellas - van usted ustedes I improved my understanding of the vocabulary by doing the mas practica worksheet for unidad 2.2 vocabulario.
When you have finished your assignment you can double check your answers with the key.

Today I began Unidad 2.2 I was able to uncover the 5 most important pages in the chapter. . . 1. page 130 Ir- to go 2. page 132 Telling time 3. page 134 Estar - to be 4. page 135 Asking questions/Interrogatives 5. page 143 Vocabulary I know the objectives of this chapter; 1. Talking about schedules 2. Asking and telling time 3. Asking questions 4. Saying where you are going 5. Requesting food I understand how the objectives of this chapter correspond to the important pages. I have a good idea of what I will be learning in this chapter. I began working with the vocabulary by watching the video and working with the information in the text. Assignment *Write a vocabulary list of the blue font words on pages 124-125. *Do Parte A and B (1, 2, and 3) on page 128.

Today I completed my Unidad 2.1 test. I created a valentines day card using Spanish. I watched the Unidad 2.1 video... I can answer questions in Spanish. I know that the subject of the question frequently needs to be changed in the response. . . Tu and Usted change to Yo, and Ustedes changes to nosotros. These are the most common changes that I now know. If the subject of a question is the third person singular (El/Ella) or plural (Ellos/Ellas) no change is needed. I can conjugate regular present tense AR verbs in sentences correctly. I have completed all of these weekly assignments; 1) questions worksheet (document below) 2) page 118-119 1-4 (image of page below) 3) Review (document below)
I know that I have Unidad 2.1 test tomorrow. The following documents will help me be prepared.
Today I took the vocabulary portion of the unidad 2.1 test. I continued preparing for the verb portion of the test on Friday.
I now feel like the information from this Etapa is coming together. 1. I can describe classes and classroom objects using the vocabulary and the verbs that I learned in this section. 2. I can say how often I do something using the frequency words which I learned. 3. I can now discuss and write sentences about obligation using "Hay que . . ." and "Tener que . . . " I used the review sheets below to reinforce what I have learned. I did page 113-114 #15, 16 and 18.
Tomorrow I will have a vocabulary test over all of the words on page 121. Below is the test.
