I know that a pronoun is a word that replaces a noun. I heard a story about rainbow carrots to exemplify this.
Rainbow carrots are real. They (pronoun replacing rainbow carrots) are delicious. I eat them, (pronoun replacing rainbow carrots, again) rarely.
We looked at the direct object pronouns in spanish and worked with them.
