Today I left Spanish class being able to list the definite and indefinite articles. I am able to place them into their respective charts.

Today I learned what a definite article is in both English and Spanish! It is the word "The" in English and "El, La, Los, Las" in Spanish. I know that the definite articles must agree in gender and number with the noun word. la chica el chico las chicas los chicos I can use the definite articles with nouns words. Today I learned what an indefinite article is in both English and Spanish. They are the words "a, an, some" in English and "un, una, unos, unas" in Spanish. I know that the indefinite articles must agree in gender and number with the noun word. una chica un chico unas chicas unos chicos I did my speaking test if I hadn't already. I turned in my binder. Today I continued to learn the meaning and pronunciation of the new vocabulary.
I checked my assignment from yesterday pg 54-55 1-5. If I made any errors, I corrected them. By listening to the CD, I was able to complete the audio activity mas practica 1. I placed this in my binder. I was able to complete the mas practica activities 5-8. Each of these activities deepened my understand of the vocabulary. Students are finishing up their speaking tests for Unidad 1.1. Today I listed my objectives for Unidad 1.2;
Describing other and self. Using adjective to describe appearance and personality. Using clothing words to describe appearance. I received my graded Unidad 1.1 Test. I know the end of the card marking is this week. I know I need to have all of my work in by Wednesday. I was assigned p54-55 Parte A & B 1-5. We went through the Latin words that are similar to the new Spanish words. Students did their Unidad 1.1 speaking test. We began Unidad 1.2
We began learning the pronunciation and meanings of the new vocabulary. We wrote a list of the blue font words on pg 50 -1 Mrs. Maisano was at a conference today. We worked through a practice test. Our chapter test will be tomorrow.

We did pages 44-45 1-4 (should be in binder) We did the written part of the test (postcard to teacher) and prepared our answers for the verbal part of the test.
