I completed p Today I continued working on my family tree project. This is the last class time I will be given to work on this. I know that it must be completed and turned in by Friday.
Today I began the final copy of my family tree. I will have two class periods to work on this. I have the guidelines to complete this correctly.
Today I reviewed the key grammar concepts and vocabulary from this Unidad; pg 78 Tener pg 79 Numbers pg 80 possession with "de" pg 82 Possessive adjectives pg 84 Dates/Months pg 93 Vocabulary I began working on page 90-91 1-5. This will be completed and turned in by Friday. If I scored low on the Unidad 1.2 quiz, I can take it again.
Today I worked with all of the information in Unidad 1.3. I worked with the vocabulary to help expand and strengthen my understanding of it. I was able to answer questions by using this sections vocabulary.
I used the different forms of the verb tener to answer questions. I used the preposition de to show possession/ownership. I used the months and numbers to express dates. I completed the practice quizzes with the people at my table. I turned these in for a letter grade. Today I expanded my understand of the possessive adjective. I worked primarily with nuestro/nuestros/nuestra/nuestras. I looked at the directions for the family tree project. I began to develop a rough draft of my family tree. I will be working in class next Tuesday and Wednesday on this assignment. I completed page 83 #13 and #14 out loud with a partner. I wrote out page 83 #15. I turned this in before I left class.
Today I worked on the major grammar components of this etapa. I worked with the vocabulary, the verb tener, the possessive adjectives, showing possession with the word "de", and expressing dates. I know how to show possession in Spanish using this format;
the ___________ of ____________. el/la/los/las______de___________. example la casa de Juan (Juan's house) el amigo de Luisa (luisa's friend) I know how to tell the date in Spanish the # de month the 4th of July I know that I use the numbers from 2-31 to express dates. I use the word primero for the 1st of the month. I was introduced to the month; enero, febrero, marzo, abril, mayo, junio, julio, agosto, septiembre, octubre, noviembre, diciembre I was introduced to the possessive adjectives; mi/mis nuestro/a/os/as tu/tus vuestro/a/os/as su/sus su/sus I wrote the numbers 11-16, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 5 times each. I did activities 7 and 10 on pages 79 and 80. I know the numbers from 0-100. I already knew the numbers up to 10. I learned 11-100. 11 - once 12 - doce 13 - trece 14 - catorce 15 - quince 16 - diez y seis or dieciseis 17 - diez y siete or diecisiete 18 - diez y ocho or dieciocho 19 - diez y nueve or diecinueve 20 - veinte 21 - veintiuno 30 - treinta 32- treinta y dos 43 - cuarenta y tres 54 - cincuenta y cuatro 65 - sesenta y cinco 76 - setenta y seis 87 - ochenta y siete 98 - noventa I now know how to express age in Spanish. You need to use the verb TENER to tell how old someone is. I am able to use the family words, the verb tener and the numbers to express age.I wrote out 5 sentences expressing members of my family's ages. Mi madre tiene cincuenta y dos anos. Mis abuelos tienes setenta y cuatro anos. Mi hermana tiene veiniocho anos. |
