Today I reviewed the verbs Decir and Salir. I know how to pronounce them and what they mean. I am beginning to be able to use them in sentences. I did the Mas Practica listening actividades 1-3.

Today we reviewed some basic grammar. Definite Articles (The) el, los, la, las Indefinite Articles (a, some) un, unos, una, unas a + el = al (to the, at the) de + el = del (from the, of the) Mrs. Maisano introduced us to the new verbs; DECIR- to say, to tell Yo - Digo Nosotros- Decimos Tu - Dices Vosotros- Decis el Ellos ella Dice Ellas- Dicen usted Ustedes SALIR- to leave, to go out Yo - Salgo Nosotros - Salimos Tu - Sales Vosotros - Salis el Ellos ella - Sale Ellas - Salen Usted Ustedes I did the below assignment to reinforce vocabulary and learn the new verbs.
Today I worked with the new vocabulary in 4.1. I know that I need to begin learning the pronunciation, meaning and spelling of these words. I completed the below document.

I wrote down the objectives for this chapter. 1. Identify places 2. Give addresses 3. Choose transportation 4. Request directions 5. Give instructions I wrote down the important pages from this section. They are; 1. Page 256 The verb DECIR 2. Page 258 Using prepositional phrases to express location 3. Page 260 Regular Affirmative TU commands 4. Page 269 Vocabulary Today I reviewed the conjugations of the regular AR, ER and IR verbs. I also reviewed the conjugations of the irregular YO form verbs and the irregular verbs. The document that I used to do that is below. Today I translated the spanish lecturas that I worked with yesterday. I turned this in for Mrs. Maisano to look at and grade. I continued to review. Today I worked with ALL the verbs I learned in Spanish 1. I wrote the meaning of all of the regular AR, ER and IR verbs from Spanish 1. I wrote the meaning of all of the stem-verbs and irregular verbs from last year, too. Today we reviewed reviewed the pronunciation of Spanish vowels. We reviewed that many Spanish sound are produced in the front of the mouth. We read the following passage and listened to the audio CD. We also completed the question I need to have a three ring binder by Friday. We reviewed the present tense regular "ar" verbs. We did a conjugation review together. It is posted below. |
