As a class we conjugated one of each of the AR, ER and IR stem-change verbs. We isolated the stem to make the correct spelling change. We then focused on the correct endings.

Today I continued to work with the new vocabulary learning the meaning and pronunciation of the sporting words. I did activities 3 and 4 on page 203. We went over this in class.
Today I began learning the stem-change verbs. I learned why the spelling in changes.
We began Unidad 3.2. Today I began learning the new vocabulary for Unidad 3.2. These words are all about sports. I watched the en contexto and en vivo sections of the video to be introduced to the new vocabulary.
Today I turned in my final copy of my team's skit. Below is the rubric and an example.
I practiced reading comprehension in Spanish. The passage I read was on page 191. We talked about effective strategies for reading in Spanish. The first goal is to think in Spanish not English. This is a difficult skill to develop; it needs to be practiced.
Today I revised my draft with my team. We went to the computer lab to individually type up our final copies which are due Friday. I refreshed my knowledge of the verbs venir and gustar to retake the quiz if I didn't already get an "A" on it.
I was assessed on my ability to correctly use the verbs gustar and venir in sentences.
I completed and turned in my team's draft of our dialogue/skit. The final copies are due on Friday. The example and rubric are below. My team took our rough draft and cleaned it up with the corrections. We decided how to go about creating the final copies. We will be in the computer lab tomorrow.
