Today we took an assessment over the verb Tener and the Numbers. When I finished the quiz I began working on page 90-1 1-5.
Today I continued learning the family words and numbers from page 93. I did this by working on the crossword puzzle. I also conjugated the verb SER and TENER and worked with the numbers on a worksheet. I know that there will be a quiz on the subject pronouns, verb tenet and the numbers tomorrow. The section of the quiz over the numbers is matching.
Today I worked with the numbers, the verb ser and the verb tener. I am beginning to see the connections between the single digit numbers and the double digit numbers . . . 3 - tres - 30 - treinta 4 - cuatro - 40 - cuarenta 5 - cinco - 50 - cincuenta 6 - seis - 60 - sesenta 7 - siete - 70 - setenta 8 - ocho - 80 - ochenta 9 - nueve - 90 - noventa I am beginning to see the connections between conjugating the verb ser and the conjugations of the verb tener. We use the subject pronouns for both and the format is the same. I am using what I know about the verb ser to help me conjugate the verb tener.
Today I went over the actividades from yesterday. The answers are posted on the weebly for the 12th of November. I worked on the numbers from 31-99 and know that they are a combination of three words. I know the numbers from 0-100. I already knew the numbers up to 10. I learned 11-100. 11 - once 12 - doce 13 - trece 14 - catorce 15 - quince 16 - diez y seis or dieciseis 17 - diez y siete or diecisiete 18 - diez y ocho or dieciocho 19 - diez y nueve or diecinueve 20 - veinte 21 - veintiuno 30 - treinta 32- treinta y dos 43 - cuarenta y tres 54 - cincuenta y cuatro 65 - sesenta y cinco 76 - setenta y seis 87 - ochenta y siete 98 - noventa I now know how to express age in Spanish. You need to use the verb TENER to tell how old someone is. I am able to use the family words, the verb tener and the numbers to express age.
Today I learned the conjugations of the verb. . . Tener - to have Yo - Tengo Nosotros - Tenemos Tu - Tienes Vosotros - Teneis el - Tiene Ellos - Tienen ella - Tiene Ellas - Tienen Usted - Tiene Usteded - Tienen Today the numbers 11-100 were introduced. I am able to see the similarity between the single digit and double digit numbers. 11 - once 12 - doce 13 - trece 14 - catorce 15 - quince 16 - diez y seis or dieciseis 17 - diez y siete or diecisiete 18 - diez y ocho or dieciocho 19 - diez y nueve or diecinueve 20 - veinte 21 - veintiuno 30 - treinta 32- treinta y dos 43 - cuarenta y tres 54 - cincuenta y cuatro 65 - sesenta y cinco 76 - setenta y seis 87 - ochenta y siete 98 - noventa I am learning how to express age in Spanish. You need to use the verb TENER and a numberb to express age. I watched the video that goes along with this section in the text. I learned about the quinceanera party of young women in hispanic culture. Below is my assignment for tomorrow. I need to complete
Today I took a quiz over general questions that I have learned in Spanish since the beginning of the school year. I both wrote and spoke my answers.
When I was finished with the quiz I completed a crossword puzzle with the family words. I know that I will have a matching quiz over these and the four adjectives on Thursday.
I also completed the actividades 3, 4 and 5 on pages 76 and 77.
I know that tomorrow I have a quiz on the questions and answers below. I will have to both write and speak the answers. I practiced saying each answer with a partner. I practiced the new vocabulary on page 93. I worked on the pronunciation of the family words.
Today I improved my ability to answer questions in Spanish. I answered the questions below. We went over them as a class. I put them in my binder. I know that I will have a quiz on Tuesday written and verbal over these questions. I know that if a question has a verb in the second person, "tú" (you familiar) form, the answer will have the first person, "yo" (I) form of the verb. example: ¿Cómo eres? Soy de Michigan I know that if a question has a third person singular (he/she/it) or plural (they) verb in it . . . the answer will have the same verb in it. examples: ¿ Cuál es tu color favorito? Es rojo. ¿Cómo son tus ojos? Son verdes.
