Today I continued to work with the greetings, goodbyes, introductions and pleasantries. I improved my pronunciation on them. I know that on Friday I will have to pronounce the mini-dialogues on pages 4-5.
The following are pronunciation guidelines that I will need to use to correctly pronounce the dialogues on pages 4-5.
A - fAther (mouth open, jaw relaxed)
E - thEy (mouth open, sideways oval shaped)
I - machIne (corners of mouth tight, smiling)
O - hOme (mouth makes an "O" shape)
U - sUsan (mouth makes an "o" shape, bottom lip tight)

I listened to CD of the dialogues on pages 4-5. I practiced the pronunciation of these dialogue for the quiz on Friday.
