Today we reviewed the ER/IR verb endings. The notes for this are posted on the 17th's blog.
Today I learned to conjugate the verbs;
Conocer - to know, to be acquainted (person/place)
Hacer - to do, to make
Oir - to hear
I know why the verb conocer has an irregular YO form.
Conozco - I know
I know why the verb hacer has an irregular YO form.
Hago - I do, I make
I know that the Spanish "C" can make an S sound or a K sound.
S sound - ce, ci (cenar, cinco)
K sound - ca, co, cu (casa, como, cuando)
I know that the spanish "i" changes to a "y" when it occurs between two vowels. This explains that unusual spelling of the conjugations of the verb OIR.
I know that meaning of the conjugations of the verbs conocer, hacer and oir.
We took a speaking quiz over pages 146 - 147. We turned in our binders for a grade and we completed the verb worksheet posted below.
